At any rate, this is some an Arc de Triopmhe-like (OK that's a stretch), very lit-up structure that they have here on Ship's Mechanic Row. I'm not sure of its purpose - but it is very bright and colorful. When I see it I think of the garish, non-genuine Christmas trees in A Charlie Brown Christmas.

what are you doing in Galveston? I'll be down there in a couple of weeks!
Miss Ginger: I traveled there regularly for work back in 98-99, and have another short-term project there right now. Very interesting town!
