My answer:
It's The Jets, with "Crush on You" from 1986, thanks. I think I even have an actual 12" of this at my parents' house. Their outfits in this video are the absolute zenith (nadir?) of 80s wear. Good Lord. (Hello, is that Austin Scarlet at 2:23??) I think this is pre-computer video editing, so I have to give them major props for the accuracy of their (somewhat limited) dance moves.

Mine? ... "Lady in Red" by Chris DeBurgh. But since the gender is wrong for me, I'd change the title to "Papi in Red" or "Daddy in Red".
